Coastal holiday property has appreciated by 15 per cent, according to ERA


 The number of seaside estate buyers will continue to increase in 2008Holiday homes along the Black Sea coast have recorded a 15 per cent mark-up, Teodora Dimitrova, executive director of ERA Bulgaria property agency, announced.
The number of seaside estate buyers will continue to increase in 2008, she stated. Currently, the most expensive estate are found in Golden Sands and Sveti Vlas - with prices hovering in the 600-3000 euro a sq m range. Kranevo, Byala, Obzor and Tsarevo offer the cheapest estate.
People from Russia and the Baltic account for the bulk of the buyers followed closely by British, Irish and Scandinavians. The number of transactions involving Romanians, Czechs and Polish is also increasing. Other nationalities, such as Spanish and Danish, will also start displaying keener interest in Bulgarian real estate next year, according to pundits' expectations. Dimitrova reported that, as far as residential property is concerned, prices this year have grown by 12 to 15 per cent, .
