Kazanlak holds the 5th place on the Bulgarian real estate market


  The town of Kazanlak holds the 5th position in the list of Bulgarian towns with a steady real estate deals growth and its market remains active 8 years in a row. The recently released analyses of the registry agency incorporate deals regarding all kinds of properties – residences, offices, trade facilities, building sites and land plots.

Experts assert that it is the sales of land plots that keep the real estate market in Kazanlak active eight years in a row. Analysers reckon that the fairly low property prices in Kazanlak are the major factor for the active real estate market.

Only 5 Bulgarian municipalities account on a deals growth within the period from 2005 to 2013. The first place is held by Pazardhik (sales growth of 27,9% within 8 years). The other leading towns are Pleven (16,4%), Nessebar (7,6%), Stara Zagora (4,3%) and Kazanlak (1,7%). The remaining Bulgarian towns and regions account on a negative change of the deals number from 2005 to 2013. The towns with the biggest sales slump are Sofia (-42,8%), Varna (-32,3%), Plovdiv (-14,9%) and Burgas (12,5%).

Regarding the chart of the successful real estate sales in 2013, Kazanlak takes the 14th place with 3365 property deals. The district town of Stara Zagora, in parallel, holds the 8th position with 4674 deals in 2013 totally.

The top 20 accomplished sales belong to as follows: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Pleven, Ruse, Nessebar, Stara Zagora, Yambol, Pazardzhik, Sliven, Dobrich, Veliko Turnovo, Kazanlak, Shumen, Montana, Razgrad, Asenovgrad, Haskovo, Byala, Vidin, Lovech and Vratsa.

The third quarter of the previous year turned out to be the strongest one for Kazanlak – from June to September when the sales number was the biggest.
