The interest to the village Ognqnovo near to Blagoevgrad as tourist destination is great increasingly. Here come as lot of Bulgarian people, as well more and more foreigners, chiefly from Greece –told the mayor of the village Dimitria Giurova.
Except that they are looking  for opportunities for rest, the interest of foreigners  buyers and to buying lands is real already in the region. They are looking for a plots near to the bathrooms- where are the minerals springs. There is big interest as well to the  agricultural lands around the villageр real estates and building sites of it recently.
She hope that  soon as is possible  the tourism will be mean of subsistence for the inhabitants of the village of Ognqnovo. Until now the means of livelihood was  tobacco-growing,but now the people say that they are going to renovate  their own properties and to give them for rent and selling. This way more and more tourists will come to visit the village.
According  the Dimitria Giurova this will be a wonderful investment in the future and will satisfy needs of the local people. Because the tourists will go for shopping in the village, will be open ne job pos Municipality Secretary Gyrmen Silvena Ruseva  expresses a similar opinion . According to her the fact that at different exhibitions and tourist exchanges Gyrmen is more unfamiliar name from Ognqnovo is enough revealing. Leshten and Kovachevica are as well known destination.
We are happy that the minerals bathrooms in the village ,Leshten, Kovachevica, and the old roman town Nikopolis ad Nestum are in our municipality and can attract people from foreign countries and Bulgaria. “We further rejoice more that these four entities are so close one next to an other”,sad Silvena Ruseva.
