In spite of the slow rate, real estate sales keep getting higher during the third quarter in 2013 on annual base. Within this period a total number of 59 475 properties have been sold in the country according to data released by the Registration agency, what makes up a sales growth of 1,42 % on annual base, Bulgarian Properties reveal.
Calculations of the company show that the sales in the regional cities make up 53% of the general sales volume in the country during the third quarter. Firm data informs us that 30 155 sales have been registered in general in 2012, and their number in 2013 reaches 31 767, what presents a growth of 5,35 %.
Sales in Sofia have also increased during the third quarter as follows – from 4 210 in 2012 to 4 536 in 2013. Its growth amounts to 7,74 % which is above the average for the regional cities and this is a logical result as far as the relatively good market dynamics in Sofia and the home-coming of the buyers are concerned.
A sales jump in the city of Plovdiv is also similar where a growth of 7,64 % is registered on annual base.
During the summer season this year the sales in the town of Burgas have also risen in growth which is 23,43 % compared with the registered sales a year earlier. This is a sequel both of the restoration process concerning the real estate market in the sea regions and the growing steady interest to Bulgaria on behalf of mostly Russian and Bulgarian tourists, data of the tourist branch reveal.
